It's finally finished and I am so excited to share it with you all. I'd like to welcome you to Louy Magroos Jewellery Workshop and Studio- A new home for handmade jewellery.
My Jewellery Workshop
I finally have a bright and happy jewellery studio to create all your wonderful personalised jewellery and special keepsakes in. My beautiful jewellers workbench finally has a fitting space, and I am itching to get making lots of exciting new jewellery designs for the shop.
My trusty peg board is up and full of my treasured jewellers tools, making them so easy to grab to when creativity strikes, and clears more space on my bench to make a masterpiece (mess). Painted in Louy Magroos blue it also makes a bright background and cheery touch of colour to the white walls.
There really is nothing I love more than sitting at the bench and having a play.
A fresh new Jewellery Studio
I have some great new storage with some Ikea kitchen cabinets and worktop which is now home to my bigger and heavier tools such as my polisher and guillotine.
And a bookshelf for my favourite jewellery and silversmithing books.
I even gave my old desk a spruce up, I lime waxed it to lighten the wood and it makes for a much brighter finish to work on. My notice board is reused from my wedding, we made it as a seating plan for the reception and now it holds some of my favourite photos and inspirational quotes to make me smile.
The desk space is now a really cosy and happy place to do all those jobs I might have perhaps put off before, I can now do my accounts and product descriptions in comfort.
So there we go, what do you think? I couldn't be happier with how it has come together and I can't wait to get stuck in making again.
